The Pittsburgh Steelers Tuesday signed center Justin Hartwig to a four-year contract that runs through the 2012 season. The deal comes with Hartwig in the final year of an existing two-year contract signed in 2008. He would have been eligible to become an unrestricted free agent in March 2010.
