By Meadows, Robyn It's 8:07 Wednesday morning. Two male teens wearing flip-flops, T- shirts and shorts, straggle into Hempfield High School. While their friends are probably snoozing, they join about 20 silent, drowsy-looking teens sitting in a lecture hall taking tests.
Thirty-eight students in kindergarten through grade 12 from 10 Lancaster County schools were announced Saturday as winners of the 2007-08 AMVETS and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Annual Americanism Program at AMVETS Post 19 in Lancaster.
Eighteen students from Lancaster County were honored at Franklin & Marshall College's annual Awards Day ceremony Sunday in the Barshinger Center for Musical Arts in Hensel Hall.
