Ericsson has collaborated with Intel to extend its 3G mobile broadband technology for notebooks and pocket devices. Ericsson will use Intel's next-generation Moorestown platform and Moblin-based Linux operating systems on both WCDMA/HSPA and GSM/EDGE networks.
