NEW YORK, Dec. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Weinstein Company (TWC) and Universal Pictures announced today that Academy Award-winning director Quentin Tarantino's World War II epic, Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, will open domestically August 21, 2009.
