Hollywood actor Brad Pitt reportedly has signed on to star in Quentin Tarantino's new World War II picture "Inglorious Bastards." Pitt had a scene-stealing role in the 1993 movie "True Romance," which Tarantino wrote and Tony Scott directed.
Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is talking to Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio about co-starring in his war film, Inglorious Bastards. Variety.com said Tarantino met Pitt in France Tuesday and plans to talk to DiCaprio Thursday about headlining his latest big-screen outing.
Showtime Networks Inc. says it has entered into an exclusive seven-year film distribution arrangement with The Weinstein Co., a U.S. studio. The joint announcement was made Monday by Matthew C. Blank, chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks, and Bob and Harvey Weinstein, co-chairmen of TWC.
The Weinstein Co. reportedly will co-finance Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino's latest movie, as well as distribute it domestically and oversee production.
