Slumdog Millionaire co-star Anil Kapoor has signed on for a role on the U.S. television drama 24. The Indian actor played the game-show host in Millionaire, which won the Oscar for best picture this year. The Hollywood Reporter said the Bollywood star is set to join the cast as a Middle Eastern leader who comes to the United States on a peacekeeping mission in the upcoming eighth season of 24. Kapoor has acted in more than 100 movies in India.
