Rookie Ottawa goaltender Brian Elliott recorded his first NHL shutout Sunday, blocking 20 shots in a 3-0 Senators win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Dany Heatley, Ryan Shannon and Jason Spezza scored for Ottawa, which has won six of eight games but trails Montreal by 10 points for the eighth and last playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
