A healthy panda cub was born Wednesday at a zoo in northern Thailand after the mother, an 8-year-old-female, was artificially inseminated by staff in February. Chiang Mai Zoo's director Thanapath Pongamorn said there were no signs that mom Lin Hui was pregnant.  "She's been anxious since yesterday. BANGKOK, Thailand - After panda porn failed to spark amour, Thai zoo authorities turned Monday to artificial insemination in the hope of impregnating their lone female giant panda. Authorities at the Chiang Mai Zoo in northern Thailand inseminated Lin Hui with semen from her cage-mate, Chuang Chuang, on Monday morning and will repeat the procedure on Tuesday.
