YouTube has announced plans to launch a two-day test of live video-streaming starting on Monday, marking their inaugural attempt at using first-party streaming technology.

LOS ANGELES, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Webcastr.com, a two-year-old professional video web network, found a new global audience Sunday when it began its first ever live stream from the famed red carpet ceremonies at the 82nd annual Academy Awards in Hollywood.
