Two generations of aerospace engineering excellence will come together Saturday, March 1 when NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center in Edwards, Calif., is redesignated NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center.
NASA says it has awarded a contract to the Computer Sciences Corp. of Fort Worth, Texas, to maintain aircraft used for astronaut training and flight research. The $163 million contract continues services provided by the company under a previous contract that expires Monday, the space agency said.
