DALLAS, Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dallas Stars have been making a legitimate run for the Stanley Cup this year and some say their recent success could be attributed to their solid defense and consistent goaltending.

Brendan Morrison's two power-play goals Tuesday carried the Dallas Stars past the Los Angeles Kings 3-2. The win at Staples Center kept the Stars' faint playoff hopes alive by snapping a seven-game winless streak.
