Oct 3 (Interfax) - Shares in MMC Norilsk Nickel (RTS: GMKN), the world's biggest nickel and palladium producer as well as a large producer of copper, platinum and cobalt, plummeted more than 12% on Friday following the release of weak financial results for the first half of 2008.
