The Nissan GT-R was first released in Japan in 2007. It is a sports car manufactured by Nissan and features all-wheel-drive. There were two concept vehicles unveiled before the GT-R was produced. One in 2001 and a redesigned concept in 2005 called the GT-R Proto. The 2007 GT-R model was based 80-90 percent on the Proto concept vehicle.
