The Mongolian Wild Ass (Equus hemionus hemionus), is a subspecies of the Onager. The Onager (Equus hemionus), is a large mammal belonging to the horse family. It is native to the deserts of Syria, Iran, Pakistan, India, Israel, and Tibet.
