More U.S. companies are announcing peanut-related product recalls in the midst of a nationwide Salmonella outbreak. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the contamination occurred at a Peanut Corp. of American plant in Georgia, which produced peanuts, peanut butter and peanut paste for numerous manufacturers of candies, cookies, pet snacks, cereals and other products.
