The recall came after 35 people were sickened in 19 states from salmonella-contaminated peanut butter manufactured by the New Mexico-based peanut processor.
What started as a Salmonella outbreak related to peanut butter sold at Trader Joe’s has now expanded to include even more products sold in other locations, such as Target and even some online retailers.
A retail grocery store chain is recalling peanut butter that has been linked to 29 cases of salmonella-related illnesses across 18 US states, according to reports published over the weekend.
