The Waxy Monkey Leaf Frog (Phyllomedusa sauvagii), is a hylid frog belonging to the subfamily of South and Central American leaf frogs, Phyllomedusinae. It inhabits the dry prairie (Chaco) of Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. This subfamily contains about 50 species of frogs. These frogs are about 2 to 3 inches in length.
