Canada's economy, as measured by real gross domestic product, declined 0.8 percent in the fourth quarter, an annual rate of 3.4 percent, officials said Monday. Statistics Canada reported the GDP grew progressively weaker each month in the quarter, and turned in its steepest quarterly decline since 1991.
