When Microsoft released Windows 8 last year, it made Internet Explorer 10 an integral part of the operating system. However, Windows 7 users were left with the older IE9 for months until IE10 finally arrived for the older OS, about four months later, on February 26.
After years of complaints about Microsoft’s internet browser never getting updated, the software giant from Redmond has announced that Internet Explorer (IE) will be quietly updated via auto-updates.
Microsoft announced it would give customers in the European Union the option to install its Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser on versions of Windows 7 when the new operating system launches worldwide in October.
