Scottish actor David Tennant has signed on to co-star alongside Colin Firth and Rupert Everett in the next film in the St. Trinian's franchise. Tennant is best known for his work on TV's Doctor Who and in the Royal Shakespeare Company's recent stage production of Hamlet.
