A Major renovation of Skidby Mill is set to start next week. The cap and four sails of the 187-year-old mill will be removed as part of the work, giving visitors the rare opportunity to see them on the ground. It follows an inspection that revealed the need to replace some structural timbers in the cap and fantail - the smaller sails at the back of the windmill.
