The Snow Leopard Trust, a Seattle based wildlife conservation organization has reached the finals of the BBC World Challenge. The Snow Leopard Trust and two other finalists received the most votes from worldwide supporters of the 12 organizations selected to compete. The Wildlife Conservation Society has discovered a surprisingly healthy population of rare snow leopards living in the mountainous reaches of northeastern Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor, according to a new study.
