Latest Solar eclipses on Mars Stories
Researchers say that if Curiosity ever loses its location on the surface of Mars, it could use eclipses to help it find its way.
On March 3, 2010 Mars Express will make its closest ever approach to Phobos, the larger of the two Martian moons.
These images, taken by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board ESA's Mars Express spacecraft, show the fast-moving shadow of the moon Phobos as it moved across the Martian surface.
