HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- During the New Year's holiday driving period there were 836 crashes investigated by the Pennsylvania state police. Of those, 146 were injured and one person was killed. From December 31, 2013 through January 2, 2014, State Police investigated a total of 836 crashes. Of those, 36 were alcohol-related. HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- During the three-day Christmas holiday driving period there were 900 crashes investigated by the State Police. Those crashes resulted in 255 injuries and eight deaths. From Dec. 24 through Dec. 26, 2013, State Police investigated a total of 900 crashes.
