NORWAY - Stephens Memorial Hospital has announced the successful completion of the Safe Sitter(R) class on Aug. 21, with seven participants: Lindsay Day, Jordan Schorr, Hunter Bortenheim, Arrabine Dunn, Tiffany Umsteadt, Mackenzie Kuvaja and Devon Willard. NORWAY - Officials of Western Maine Health announced recently that registered nurse Beverly Snow has been appointed to the position of nurse director of surgical services at Stephens Memorial Hospital. Snow has been working as a nurse for more than 20 years, most recently as an operating room circulator and team leader. NORWAY - There is still time to sign up for the Aug. 13 and 15 Safe Sitter(R) class offered by Stephens Memorial Hospital. The class will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Norway Town Office.
