Cinnamomum burmannii is a flowering tree species. The plant may also be commonly referred to as Indonesian Cinnamon, Padang Cassia or Korintje. C. burmannii belongs to the Lauraceae family. The plant is most commonly known for its spice; the household spice cinnamon is made from the tree’s bark.
