Space shuttle astronauts have tested Endeavour's landing systems in preparation for an early Wednesday touchdown at the Kennedy Space Center ending Endeavour's 19-year flying career. Ken Bowersox is an engineer, United States Naval officer, and a former NASA astronaut. He was born Kenneth Dwane Bowersox on November 14, 1956 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
