Nick Lynch, the football coach and athletic director at Suitland (Md.) High School, was killed in a New Year's Eve car accident, police said. Lynch, 43, won 117 games and Maryland state football titles in 2004 and 2006. The Washington Post reported Thursday that Lynch was killed early Wednesday morning in a two-car collision about a mile from his Brandywine (Md.) home.
