T-Mobile USA and Leap Wireless announced on Monday that they are planning to exchange wireless spectrum to increase their coverage in the U.S. The deal will give Leap more spectrum in Phoenix and Houston, while T-Mobile and its joint venture Cook Inlet will have greater spectrum in Alabama, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
