NBC News announced Sunday that David Gregory has been made the host of the network's Meet the Press program. The 38-year-old chief White House correspondent will take over the program starting next Sunday.
The president of NBC News said a decision on who will replace the late Tim Russert as "Meet the Press" moderator should be made in November or early December. Russert died in June of a heart attack at the age of 58. Tom Brokaw has been filling in until a permanent moderator is named.
