KIDNEY LAKE, Duchesne County -- A 14-year-old Boy Scout has been missing in the high Uinta Mountains since Tuesday. The teen was last seen around 5 p.m. Tuesday, but police were not notified until just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, said Duchesne County sheriff's deputy Aaron Chapman.
Ashley National Forest is a National Forest found in northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming. Within the boundaries of this forest are 1,382,346 acres in Utah and 96,223 acres in Wyoming of vast forests, lakes, and mountains with elevations ranging from 6,000 to 13,500 feet.
