KIDNEY LAKE, Duchesne County -- A 14-year-old Boy Scout has been missing in the high Uinta Mountains since Tuesday. The teen was last seen around 5 p.m. Tuesday, but police were not notified until just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, said Duchesne County sheriff's deputy Aaron Chapman. Search efforts will begin early this morning, he said. Police did not release any other details about the Scout Wednesday night.
