British animal authorities said a puppy rescued from a rabbit hole was likely trapped underground for more than a week, surviving on condensation and body fat. Socks, a former stray cat who made it to the White House, died Friday at the age of 20, former President Bill and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said.
