A senior U.S. official said on Monday that the U.S. State Department has been informed by a relative of Google executive Wael Ghonim that he has been released in Egypt. The official had not more details to add on Ghonim, who is Google's head of marketing for the Middle East and North Africa.  "We have indeed received confirmation of his release," State Department spokesman Mark Toner told The Wall Street Journal.
