NEW YORK, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- With the launch of the V112-3.0 Vestas will set a new standard for efficiency and performance, and thereby improve availability and lower the cost of energy.
Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order for 35 units of its V52-850kW wind turbine for the Giunchetto project located in the Italian province of Enna. The order has been placed by the energy company Aerochetto Maestrale, a company owned by the Theolia Group.
Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order for 23 units of its V90-2MW wind turbine for the Totoral project in Chile. The wind farm will be located in the region of Coquimbo, around 300km north of Santiago de Chile.
Vestas Central Europe has received an order from Raiffeisen Energy & Environment for the delivery of 16 V90-2MW wind turbines for the region of Kavarna, Bulgaria.
Vestas has received an order for 26 V90-1.8MW, five V90-3MW, and 20 V90-2MW turbines to be installed in Italy across the Apulia and Molise regions. The order has been placed by IVPC Power 5, the project company of IVPC.
Vestas, a Danish company involved in the development, manufacturing, marketing and maintenance of wind power systems, has received an order for 24 units of its V90-2MW wind turbine for the Sigeng project in China. The order has been placed by China National Offshore Oil Corporation Energy Investment.
Vestas Central Europe has received an order from Austrian Wind Power, a subsidiary of the Bewag Group, for delivery of nine units of its V90-2MW wind turbines for installation in the Czech Republic. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the V90-2MW wind turbines.
A-Power Energy Generation Systems has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Bayan Nur city government in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, to construct a new 290,000 square foot wind turbine production facility with the capacity to produce approximately 800MW of wind turbines each year.
Denmark-based Vestas has received an order for 61 wind turbines with a total capacity of 112MW for four projects in Spain. The order comprises 49 units of its V90-1.8MW and 12 units of its V90-2MW wind turbines.
