AN EVENT billed as the biggest Hindu procession ever held in the Midlands takes place in Leicester on Sunday. The Rathayatra chariot festival will feature three massive chariots, making the city just the second in Europe to host the festival on such a scale. Thousands of festivalgoers from all over the world will pull the three chariots from Leicester city centre clock tower to Cossington Park, accompanied by music, singing and dancing.
