Russian engineering company Power Machines has completed and shipped the first hydro turbine for installation at the Boguchansk hydro power plant in the Russian territory of Krasnoyarsk. These turbines are reportedly the largest units to have been manufactured in Russia at 155.6 tons. The heavy cargo will be transported to the power plant site by sea, and it is expected to take 35-40 days. The length of the route is approximately 6,500km.
