Time is running out to visit the tomb of Tutankhamen, as officials with Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities have announced plans to close it to tourists by the end of the year. The Antiquities Council of Egypt said on Thursday that archaeologists have found fragments of a statue of an ancient god and a pharaoh in a site that once housed ancient Egypt's largest funerary temple. Egyptian archaeologists unveiled a newly-unearthed double tomb on Thursday, which contained vivid wall paintings in the ancient necropolis of Saqqara. They are hoping the find will be the start of uncovering a huge cemetery in the area.
