Thousands of People Still Scheduled to Undergo Controversial Procedure
Thousands of chronic pain patients are scheduled to undergo the exact same procedure linked to the unprecedented outbreak of fungal meningitis. While the contaminated steroid injections have all been recalled — many patients remain concerned that they, too, will become ill.
