Ganymede May Harbor ‘Club Sandwich’ Of Oceans And Ice

Jupiter’s moon Ganymede, the largest moon in our solar system, is thought to host an enormous ocean beneath an icy crust.

A new model, based on laboratory experiments, suggests that the moon may have oceans and ice stacked up in multiple layers like a club sandwich.
