Serving ‘COCOA’ to Webb Space Telescope

The Center of Curvature Optical Assembly, or COCOA is a piece of equipment that will measure the accuracy of NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope’s primary mirror, to ensure the mirrors are perfectly shaped and will work in the frosty environment of space. This behind-the-scenes NASA video explains the purpose of COCOA and how it is used in testing the mirrors.
