Wear Your Password On Your Wrist
Toronto-based Bionym has launched Nymi, a wearable biometric authentication device that relies on an embedded electrocardiogram sensor for identification. So in plain English, it uses unique ECG patterns to replace your passwords and PIN numbers on mobile devices. And it keeps you logged in until it’s removed. The company says the watch will allow for more privacy and reduce identity theft. Nymi is pretty affordable at $79 bucks, and it’s already available for pre-order.
