This quest does not appear in our quest journal. It only appears on the map when we are near the area. To get it we will need to teleport to Yashiori Island. Make your way towards the gap that divides Higi Village and Fort Fujitou. There we will find Yasumoto.

1. Cross the gap and talk to Yasumoto.
2. He is trying to find a cure and requires twelve (12) pieces of Naku Weeds. Once we’ve gathered them, we return and give Yasumoto the Naku Weeds.
3. After we give him the required herb, Yasumoto requests that we meet with him the following day between 18:00 – 21:00.Adjust the clock to set the time you want. Press confirm and head towards Yasumoto.
4. After a day of making the remedy using the herbs, Yasumoto will need a test subject to conduct an experiment. Thankfully he volunteers; however, this somewhat weakens him, and we have to defend him from enemies.
5. We will need to protect him from three waves of enemies.
6. After defeating them, return to Yasumoto to complete the quest.

We hope to have helped you with this quest. It isn’t much, but it sure did give us something to work on while running around aimlessly.

During the Thin Ice quest, the final battle ensued between our heroes and his Wild Hunt hoard. We triumph against them, and then Ciri takes matters into her own hands and attempts to end the White Frost once and for all.

The choices made prior to the battle will determine the outcome of Ciri’s future; click here to see which path our heroin could possibly take and create your own storyline. With that out of the way, let us proceed and discover which path we’ve laid out for Ciri.

1. Return to Velen and head towards the Nilfgaardian Garisson.
2. There, we wait to meet with Master Ort to retrieve a silver sword previously commissioned with special elven inscriptions.
3. After leaving the garrison, we proceed towards the inn. Along the way, we cross paths with the dwarf whom we previously met during the quest Isle of Mists Part 1 & Part 2.
4. This is an optional quest but we intended to find out what have they been up to after saving them from the Isle of Mist. It turns out that they are thieves and are being hunted by Lord Dagborg’s soldiers.
5. We can either cooperate with the Nilfgaardian Soldiers and give up the dwarves, or we will end up fighting them instead and help the dwarves escape.
6. After dealing with the dwarves and the Nilfgaardian Soldiers, we continue to the inn. There we will meet with Ciri and give her the commissioned Witcher Sword, Swallow.
7. This then marks the end of our journey. Emhyr conquered the Northern Realms. Cerys became the righteous ruler of Skellige. Ciri became a Witcher.

The main storyline may have ended; however, there are two expansions for the game; Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. Stay tuned as we delve into the Witcher 3 DLC’s to continue our adventure with Geralt.

Yet The Butterfly Flutters Away (Hu Tao’s Story Quest)

The Mysterious Wangsheng Parlor

1. Teleport to a waypoint nearest to Wuwang Hill.
2. Upon arriving at the marked location we see Meng, the undertaker of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, who mistook us for ghosts.
3. Catch up with the fleeing undertaker to meet with Hu Tao, director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
4. After the conversation, head back to Liyue with Meng and Hu Tao to meet with the Adventurer’s Guild.
5. As the Adventurer’s Guild has no immediate need for the Funeral Parlor’s services, we head back to the Funeral Parlor. There, Hu Tao discusses marketing strategies to entice would-be clients of the parlor.
6. First would-be client is Little Wu.
7. Second is Mumu.
8. And third, is Congzi.
9. All three of them refused the offers seeing that there is no necessity for it at the moment and that it is absurd for a funeral parlor to be handing out promotions to random strangers.
10. Hu Tao explains that any business development had ended after visiting the Adventurer’s Guild. And that the three potential clients were suspected of being followed by a ghost named Big G.

In Pursuit Of A Phantom

1. Meet with Meng at the funeral parlor. Talk to him about Big G. During the conversation, he spoke about a childhood friend who’s spirit may have become evil and has been haunting him.
2. The conversation is then interrupted by Luocheng. He inquires about the possibility that evil spirits are coming back to the mortal realm to cast evil curse among mortals.
3. After the conversation, we proceed to the exorcism site. Hu Tao explains to us that it is hard to reason with Meng and Luocheng about their beliefs of the dead. One think’s his friend became an evil spirit and the other think’s he’s been cursed.
4. In order to truly gain their attention and calm them down, you must perform the fake exorcism to give them with something tangible.
5. During the conversation, Hu Tao also gives a brief history of the Yaksha and how their resentment turned into pestilence after the death of the gods, and that hysteric people mistook it for a curse from the god’s.
6. As the conversation ends, get near the Ley Line Monolith to summon monsters and perform the fake exorcism.
7. After defeating the monsters, Hu Tao exposes that all of that was a trick and proceeds to explain the truth.
8. Meng then approaches Hu Tao about continuing the search for Big G, but according to Hu Tao, Big G “found us first.”
9. Return to Wangsheng Parlor with Big G and find out more about what really happened.
10. Now that we understand what has happened, Hu Tao suggests to have everyone involved for a farewell ceremony for Big G.

Friendships, Wishes and Regrets

1. Visit Little Wu and ask about what keepsake he could offer for the farewell ceremony. He is reminded of something Big G has liked since childhood, the extra-spicy Jueyun Chili Chicken. We need to provide Little Wu with Jueyun Chilis for him to make the dish.
2. Second, a quick talk with the all-knowing Mumu. He offers a toy box, something all of them had been dreaming of owning and playing as a child.
3. Head towards the overpass to meet with Congzi and the others. Mumu explains how they were required by necessity to leave their homes behind.
4. Congzi will then offers artisan Xiao Lanterns for a keepsake. However we will need to retrieve it from the warehouse.
5. Head towards the warehouse and talk to Gou San’er for permission to enter the warehouse and retrieve the materials for the lantern.
6. There will be three marked crates in the warehouse, but the one we need is actually this crate.
7. Head back to the overpass and give the materials to Congzi.

Perfect Send-Off

1. Return to Wuwang Hill along with the keepsakes collected from Big G’s friends and give them to Hu Tao; then enter the border(domain).
2. Once inside, you will need to defeat enemies and solve some puzzles to be able to proceed further.
3. We will need to collect the blue elemental shards and place them into some sort of lantern to open the doors for the next chamber.
4. This part of the quest may be confusing for some, but it is actually easy. We need to take the blue shard and move forward towards the next room. This part of the domain loops, and when we return to where the lanterns are located, a second blue shard spawns. We then take it and place the shards into the lanterns to open a new door.
5. Now that the door has been opened, a cutscene plays. We then follow Hu Tao by jumping off the cliff and landing in the water below. Proceed to the marked location until we reach the chamber where manifestations of Big G’s memory are recounted.
6. After the cutscenes, Meng and Big G talk in a corner, and we proceed to talk with Hu Tao. After the conversation, the domain is then completed and our reward collected.
7. Exit the domain and head towards the marked location for the actual sending off of Big G.

Big G then disappears, and Hu Tao’s story quest comes to a close. A ghost story with a happy ending. Who would’ve thought Genshin Impact had a ghost story such as this. Coincidentally, the quest was unlocked and played days before Halloween, so it was a thrill to play and write about as it was very timely.

After the A Particularly Particular Author followed the Octave of Maushiro. And for the third installment in our investigation of Tsurumi Island is The Sea of Fog and the Rite of the Trees.

Just before completing the Octave of Maushiro, Sumida commissions us again to further explore the island of Tsurumi. She also expressed interest in Kama, whom we saw in the illusions while exploring the island. We will need to ask him a few important things before returning to Tsurumi.

1. Head to the Ritou docks and talk to Kama about his ancestry and history of the island of Tsurumi.
2. Return to Tsurumi island and look for Ruu. Our map will again be covered with fog, just like what happened in Octave of Maushiro.
3. After arriving in the island, Paimon immediately notices Roald standing by the shore. Interacting with him unlocks the quest The Saga of Mr. Forgetful.
4. We then continue our search for Ruu. Head towards the islands entrance to clear the fog in our map. However, there are four locations that are still covered with fog. The area near the ceremonial site, Chirai Shrine, Shirikoro Peak and Autake Plains.
5. Proceed to the usual spot and talk to Ruu, but he is nowhere to be found.
6. Go deeper into the island. Head towards the site of the Perch tree and find the illusions of Ipe and Makiri.
7. According to the conversation between Ipe and Makiri, the perch plays a vital role in the ceremonies. Paimon deduces that destroying the perches would stop the people from making offerings, thus, ending the ceremonies.
8. We proceed to attack the perch, and when its health points reach fifty percent, balls of light exit the tree and scatter.
9. Locate the perches scattered powers and eliminate them using charged attacks. Electro attacks are ineffective so you will need to change some party members to finish this one quickly.
10. After eliminating all of the perches scattered powers, return to the perch and continue destroying it.
11. Once destroyed, the perches leaves recede and the tree wilts away. We are then taken on a map view of the island, and the fog in our locations is gone. We will need to do this three more times.
12. After destroying all of the perches, we then return to the ceremonial site in the hopes of finding Ruu there. However, as we enter the site, thunder cracks, and red lightning strikes the area. We flee to safety near the statue of seven.
13. From here, we proceed to enter the island and look for Ruu once again.
14. We now find a disappointed Ruu. He earlier asked us to make offerings to the perches and now we have destroyed all of them. After the conversation, Ruu runs away.
15. We never bothered going after Ruu. Instead, we report back to Sumida.
16. Sumida insists on meeting with Kama together and talking more about Tsurumi Island.

After the conversation with Kama, the quest is then completed. Check back again tomorrow for the continuation and possibly the final chapter of this quest series.

In the quest, A Sea of Fog and the Rite of the Trees, we hurriedly left the ceremonial site due to an inexplicable storm that had appeared. With lightning colored red and striking with anger at us after we had destroyed the perches.

To continue with the quest:

1. Check the map and travel to Tsurumi Island. The fog covering the island is now glowing with a reddish hue.
2. Proceed to the marked location and talk to Kama. According to him, this is the state of the island before it’s destroyed, and then it will start all over. He then offers to help with our search for Ruu.
3. To be able to find Ruu, we will need to visit the locations he mentioned before. He once recounted that he hid himself in various locations that weren’t affected by the storm. The first location is Wakukau Shoal.
4. After defeating the monsters in the area, we can to interact with the thunderbird statue. Using the Peculiar Pinion on the statue will reveal a glowing feather. Touching the feather will reveal some things about the island, and then the feather will fly towards the inside of Mount Kanna.
5. The second location is Oina Beach. We again use the Pecular Pinion on the statue to reveal…monsters. Yes, we need to defeat monsters prior to handling the feather. Just like the first time, this feather will also fly towards the inside of Mount Kanna.
6. The third location is on Autake Plains. Our conversation with Kama is cut short due to respawning monsters. Defeat them to lure out Ruu.
7. After defeating the monsters, Ruu will be standing face to face with you. However, he is still upset about what we did with the perches. Kama and Ruu start to talk about their ancestry during the meeting.
8. Without using the Peculiar Pinion, the feather will appear. After we touch the feather, it summons an illusion of Ruu. The real Ruu recounts that it was his first meeting with the thunderbird and that he was the one who named it Kapatcir.
9. After the illusion, the feather will fly inside Mount Kanna as well. Head inside the mountain to investigate. At its core, we find an altar surrounded by monsters. Defeat them then proceed to investigate the altar unimpeded.
10. Investigating the altar results in the appearance of the Thunder Manifestation. The same entity we fought at Amakumo Peak.
11. This encounter with the Thunder Manifestation seemed harder compared to the time in Amakumo Peak. So we enlisted the help of our good friend rgbprism, who has been helping us for quite a while.
12. With the help of our friend, we are now able to interact with the feather. Afterwards, talk with Ruu and agree to go to Seirai Island, where the thunderbird now resides.
13. We proceed to the marked location and, after arriving, Ruu offers to sing for Kapatcir. A feather will appear, and we can have a conversation with Ruu.
14. After talking with him, we return inside Mount Kanna to investigate the altar, and talk with Ruu about Kapatcir. He then releases the final feather we found in Seirai and place it on the altar. This revives the perch inside the mountain. Signifying the return of the thunderbird.
15. Report back to Sumida along with Kama. Sumida invites us to a meal, so we follow her to Kiminami Restaurant. Once there, a conversation starts, and then the quest series will finally come to an end.

Mount Kanna Stone Slate

When we couldn’t defeat the Thunder Manifestation, we looked around to check for some things we might have missed. Lo and behold, a puzzle has been found. This puzzle is activated by using the Peculiar Pinion of the thunderbird statue.

This reveals three seelies, and each of them leads to a mysterious stone where we need to retrieve and return to their respective slots. Once done, the sequence to solve the puzzle appears on the opposite wall. We are rewarded with a stone slate which will undoubtedly be used at some point in the game during a quest.

We again express our gratitude to our friend rgbprism for helping us defeat the Thunder Manifestation and getting us through the final stretch of our quest involving the thunderbird.

When darkness blanketed the world, the Thunderbird dispersed a mysterious fog to defend Tsurumi Island.

But the people within the fog could not see the sun, the moon, or the stars, nor could they see their relatives, friends, children, or the Wen Kamuy they had domesticated and raised.

Then, the Thunderbird, like a blazing violet comet, took flight from the hollow Mt. Kanna.

When the first priests heard the sharp sound of the wings piercing the skies, they picked up the plumes of the Thunderbird. When they blew upon these sturdy feathers, they would hear a melodious sound.

Thus, people used this to communicate their location to others through the fog and to guide those who were lost to them. Even later on, people would use wood to imitate these sounds…

Folklore of the Thunderbird as narrated by Ruu

The quest A Particularly Particular Author ended with a cliffhanger. It unsatisfyingly ended after talking with Sumida. However, a surprise awaits every traveler today as the previous quest does indeed have a continuation. Without further ado, let’s continue our search for answers about the mysteries of Tsurumi Island.

1. Pay Sumida a visit. As we arrive we notice that she had gathered the previously commissioned detectives (Sango, Ryuuji and Roald) and discussed what had transpired in Tsurumi Island during their investigation.
2. As we check the map to teleport, we see that the map has been covered with fog and that the only way to get there is by teleporting to the Statue of Seven or by using the Waverider (if you forgot to activate the Statue of Seven).
3. Upon arrival on the island, take a look around until the Nihil Sub Caligine Novum achievement appears.
4. Proceed further until we arrive at a large gate. This will clear the map of the fog. However, during our exploration, some areas are still covered in fog.
5. Proceed to the marked area. Look for and talk to Ruu.
6. During the conversation, we tell Ruu about the Maushiro being missing. He then tells us that the Maushiro is still with us and that he feels its presence with us.
7. After Ruu’s story about the Thunderbird’s feathers, we then remember the quest Seirai Stormchasers where we faced off with the thunder manifestation above Amakumo Peak that gave us the Peculiar Pinion.
8. Press B to access the bag / inventory and under the Gadget tab, select the Peculiar Pinion and press Equip. We will then be able to use it by pressing Z.
9. We then follow Ruu’s instructions and use the Peculiar Pinion to activate the Thunderbird statues.
10. As the statue is activated, there appears an illusion of Kama. Talk to the illusion.
11. After the cut scene with the illusion, dig up the buried Maushiro that was initially given to us by Ruu.
12. Return to the ceremonial site and eavesdrop on the conversing locals.

13. After gathering the information we then proceed to the nearest site, Wakukao Shoal. Defeat the monsters around the area and interact with the thunderbird statue uninterrupted.
14. After activating the statue, an engraving appears on the nearby stones. You can try and guess the combinations but nothing will work.
15. To solve this, we need to go down, just below where the thunderbird statue is located. Another statue sits there which when activated, reveals the exact combinations.
16. As we proceed to activate the stone using the correct sequence, a chest appears and in it is a stone slate, like the ones we sought after on the Farmer’s Treasure quest.
17. Still in the same area is another marked location where another statue awaits activation.
18. Upon activation, we then see another illusion. This time it is Ipe, Ruu’s companion when we were still clearing the flog within Tsurumi Island. After disappearing, we turn our gaze towards the same set of engraved stones. Activate the statue nearby and an electroculus will appear.
19. Follow the electroculus around and have it arrive in its court. Beside it is another thunderbird statue. Activate it to reveal the sequence of the engraved stones.
20. Activating the stones will summon the illusion of Ipe a second time.
21. Proceed to Oina Beach and activate another statue. Kama and Sayo’s illusions are then summoned. This time, we will only be moving the engraved stones that match the markings on the ground.
22. An illusion of Sayo is then summoned and it seems to be talking to Ruu about leaving the Tsurumi Island.
23. Head to Autake Plains. The fog in the area is thick and anyone wandering about will easily get lost. We will need to activate the Stormstones using electro normal / charged attacks. This will guide us along the way as we seek to activate the other thunderbird statues in the area.
24. Proceed to the marked location and activate the statue.
25. After Ruu’s illusion disappears, move straight further to find another thunderbird statue. Paimon points out that there are three stones missing from the usual five.
26. Use the feather to reveal three seelies. Follow each seelie to retrieve the stones. For each stone recovered, we will need to immediately return it to its place. The seelie we followed will be the marker. Do this two more times.
27. Once completed, the sequence for activating the engraved stones will appear.
28. We then return to an empty ceremonial site.
29. Report back to Sumida and give her the Maushiro we dug up during the first illusion of Kama. We also recount with her two days worth of adventure.
30. Near the end of the conversation, Sumida expresses interest in Kama and wishes to know more about him. Accepting the commission will complete the quest. Return to Sumida tomorrow for another mysterious adventure.

Bonus Puzzle

This puzzle appears when we use the Peculiar Pinion on the Thunderbird statue near the ceremonial site. To solve this, we will need to attack only three cubes. The cube on the right, with the missing chunk, will not move no matter what.

When the left cube is attacked, it rotates along with the top cube in the middle. We will need to attack the top cube separately to adjust it and complete the puzzle to open the chest for rewards.

How to Complete The Master of Stars’ Deception (Xiao’s Story Quest) in Genshin Impact

Butterfly’s Dream

1. Check the area near Wangshu Inn.
2. There we will see two Hilichurls with a dark aura around them. Defeat the Hilichurls and investigate.
3. After defeating the Hilichurls, a group of people emerge in the background. One of them wears a mask and seems to be talking with the Hilichurls.
4. Approach the man wearing the mask and ask about the Hilichurls.
5. After conversing with the Starsnatcher, our masked hero, talk with the other three believers.
6. When done, proceed to Wanwen Bookhouse.
7. As we were arriving, we recognize the masked hero inquiring for a copy of Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti.

Glimmers of the Vigilant Yaksha

1. Curiously enough, we also ask about the book. Check the table by the ledge and investigate the open book on top.
2. As we read the contents, a cutscene plays about how Rex Lapis had summoned the Yakshas.
3. Return to Wangshu Inn and find Starsnatcher. He performs another ritual to ward off the Hilichurls but to no avail. Help them by defeating the Hilichurls.
4. After defeating the Hilichurls, talk to to Starsnatcher about the failed attempt when using the Sigil of Permission.

Purging of Evil

1. We now need to locate the source of the evil aura. Use the elemental sight to track down the Hilichurls with the dark aura.
2. As we near the marked location, we see a familiar face, Xiao.
3. He explains that the reason the Hilichurls are having a dark, evil aura around them is because of the karma he accumulated all these years. We then arrive at the entrance of the karma-heavy cavern.
4. Entering the domain requires us to defeat all of the enemies that spawn. All of them have the evil aura and may be a quite a challenge to complete.

Insights of Drifting Dreams

1. After clearing the domain, we then proceed to the marked location at Mt. Tianheng. Here we meet Pervases. Oddly enough, he starts a conversation and immediately knows what we are there for.
2. First, we need to collect the Censer.
3. Second, gather the seven-star lamps located near and around the old shrine.
4. After collecting the items for the ritual, we return to Pervases to say goodbye, but he is nowhere to be found. Then we here his voice coming from the crane statue.
5. Talk to Xiao in front of the Yaksha statues to learn the ritual of calling the spirit of others.
6. He then enumerates the steps to successfully complete the ritual.
7. First is the offering of incense. Second is meditation. Third is incantation.
8. Fourth is the loosing of arrows on the glowing parts of the Yaksha statues.
9. After the process, Xiao takes over and Starsnatcher’s spirit is summoned.
10. He continues to pretend that he is an adepti, so we punish his spirit by deliberately attacking.
11. Just before his health bar is depleted, he surrenders. We then talk to him and find out that he and his ancestors have been looking up to the Yakshas and what they have done for the people.
12. After the conversation, Starsnatcher’s spirit then returns to its body and we head to Wangshu Inn to catch up to him. However, Wang Ping’an (Starsnatcher) had already left and went on a solo pilgrimage and left us a letter and the Sigil of Permission.
13. We then talk to Xiao and return to him the Sigil of Permission.

This concludes the story quest for Xiao,“…the conqueror of demons and the sole surviving Yaksha in the mortal realm. And only on the moonlit nights, in the glow from the Guyun and in the sound of the Dihua flute, his memory is preserved.“

Another quest that did not appear in our quest journal is this. For us to unlock this quest we will need to travel far. If you’re near Kannazuka, an area between Tatarasuna and Kujou Encampment, then you are in for a treat.

1. Search the area to find Miyuki, a shrine maiden. She stands opposite a Thunder Sakura Tree in the area.
2. After the conversation, proceed to the marked area and investigate the Treasure Hoarder’s Camp.
3. After defeating the enemies, one of them will beg for you to spare his life. He tricks you to look behind and check for enemies and then escapes.
4. Return to Miyuki for a conversation.
5. After the conversation we will need to find and remove the juvenile antics found in the Thunder Sakura Tree. Use elemental sight to see purple circles on the ground.
6. Now that we have found where these circles are, we will need to find a way to remove them.
   1. Position your character in the middle of the circle and wait until you see sparks on the ground. This means that the Thunder Sakura Tree is about to hit you with powerful lightning.
   2. As soon as you see the sparks move away from that area by pressing Right Mouse Click to dash away and evade the lightning strike.
7. Once the three purple circles have been dealt with, the Thunder Sakura Tree will stop its lightning attacks and immediately bloom altogether.
8. Get close to the tree trunk to retrieve the juvenile antic, that is the foreign object left by the treasure hoarders.
9. Do this several times on other Thunder Sakura Trees. Use this map to quickly locate other trees.
10. After removing all foreign objects from the tree trunks, report back to Miyuki.
11. Head back to the treasure hoarders camp and eliminate the Fatui.
12. Talk to Miyuki after defeating the Fatui.
13. During the conversation Hideaki activates the Electro Hypostasis and you are left to fight it.
14. Treat this electro hypostasis as you would a regular one. Attack the crystal until its health is close to depletion.
15. Then use elemental attacks on the revival crystals to permanently eliminate it. If you fail to do so, the electro hypostasis returns with half of its health points.
16. Report back to Miyuki after defeating the Electro Hypostasis to complete the quest.

Bonus Puzzle

As we were locating the Thunder Sakura Trees, we returned to this puzzle near where the nameless samurai was found. At first we were unable to solve it and now we did. Here is how we solved it:

1. Look for the relay stone and place it until it creates a link between two sacred stones.
2. Position your character near the electro lotus bombs and be affected by electro element.
3. Quickly position your character in this area. Step 2 enables your hero to conduct electricity and functions as a relay stone would.

1. Visit and talk to Katheryne about what you did for the adventurers in Seirai and proceed with taking a new quest.
2. Now pay Sumida a visit.
3. Return to Rituo Island and proceed towards the docks to meet with Kama to travel to Tsurumi Island.
4. Explore Tsurumi Island and head towards the Statue of Seven to make it visible on the map.
5. Behind the fog, you will see a young boy named Ruu. Talk to him to know more about the inhabitants of the island.
6. Head towards the marked location to meet with Ruu, Makiri, and Ipe.
7. Get near the Perch (tree) and touch it. Three blue feathers will come out of the tree branches. These blue feathers will merge before scattering.
8. Locate the three feathers before returning to the Perch to make an offering.
9. Interact with the tree and make the offering. After the offering, blue leaves will now appear on the tree branches and the fog in the area will now be lifted.
10. Report back to Ruu, Mikiri, and Ipe about the changes in the Perch.
11. Head towards the Moshiri Ceremonial Site and look for the priest.
12. Now find your way through the fog and locate the other three perches.

Shirikoro Peak Perch

1. Before approaching the perch, we first need to find the three seelies and have them return to their courts. This will drain the water under the perch.
2. Approach the perch to interact and draw out the feathers.
3. Head down to retrieve the feathers. Use your elemental sight and follow the signs that lead to the remaining feathers.
4. To get passed the first door, we will need to gather all the relay stones and position them to activate the door.
5. After opening the door, a ruin guard will appear. Defeat it to proceed unimpeded to the next room.
6. We again prioritize the seelies to drain the water and gain access to the mechanisms under it.
7. Gather the relay stones and deploy them within range of the power source.
8. Before moving towards the next room, explore the chambers to find this fire puzzle. There are no sequences to follow, all you need to do is light up these three (3) torches.
9. Inside the next chamber is the final feather needed to make an offering. But before leaving the area, explore a bit to fight some monsters and find some rewards like chests and electroculus.
10. Now let us head back to the perch and make an offering.
11. Report back to Ruu and inform him about the second perch offering.

Chirai Shrine Perch

1. Find and talk to Ruu near the Chirai Shrine perch.
2. After the conversation, touch the perch to continue the offering process.
3. Use your elemental sight to locate the feathers.
4. The first feather is located through a hole in the ground.
5. For the second feather, you will just need to follow it around to wherever it stops.
6. The third feather leads you to a simple puzzle with monsters appearing round it. Defeat them and solve the puzzle to collect your reward; then return to Ruu.
7. Talk to Ruu and then touch the perch to make the offering.

Autake Plains Perch

1. Head towards the perch. Defeat the monsters surrounding the perch.
2. Talk to Ruu about when and where the monsters came. Then interact with the perch.
3. To get the first feather, we need to defeat the monsters.
4. The second feather can only be obtained after defeating the wolf like monster that guards it.
5. After defeating the guardian and obtaining the second feather, proceed to a hilichurl camp and recover the final feather.
6. Defeat all the hilichurls and follow the feather until it stops inside an electro bubble.
7. Now that we have gathered all the the feathers, let us head back to the perch and make an offering.
8. If you have followed this guide, we will now have eliminated the fog in our maps.

Return to the Ceremonial Site

1. After the offering and clearing of the fog, we then proceed to talk to Ruu.
2. Return to the Ceremonial Site to inquire about the Maushiro.
3. Upon arrival, we notice that not a single soul is within the area of the ceremonial site. However, there is a marked location we need to take a look at.
4. Here we find the Maushiro Ruu was talking about.
5. Now that we have in our possession the Maushiro, let us return to Kama for a conversation and ask for a return trip to Ritou.
6. After arriving in Ritou, report to Sumida and show her the Maushiro. But unfortunately, like the others commissioned before, Maushiro has been found but had never really left the island. Our bags are empty and Maushiro is nowhere to be found.

In the conversation, Sumida explains that we were not the first ones to seek the Maushiro. This finishes that quest and is more of a cliffhanger. We are not sure if there are follow-up quests for this, and we certainly hope to have a few for closure.

This ends the guide for A Particularly Particular Author, and if there are quests linked to this one, we will be sure to make a follow-up quest guide for that in the future. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment below.

This quest is not listed in our quest journal, and the only way to start this is by talking to a little girl named Midori.

1. Head towards the area marked with a red dot.
2. Visit and talk with Kazue at the Komore Teahouse.
3. Go inside the Teahouse and look for Ramsay. Talk to him about the travelogue.
4. Meet with him at a nearby beach.
5. After talking to him, walk around the beach until you find Heihachi and ask about why he was following you and Ramsay.
6. Return to Ramsay for a quick conversation.
7. Proceed to the next location, near a waterfall in Byakko Plain, to meet with Ramsay, and he’ll request that you meet in a safer spot.
8. On our way there, we again cross paths with Heihachi.
9. Climb up the nearby mountain and meet with Ramsay.
10. Once we reach the top, a dialogue starts with Ramsay, and he mentions that he also notices Heihachi tailing him where ever he goes.
11. Return to Komore Teahouse and obtain Ramsay’s work and take it to Midori.
12. Also present is Heihachi giving us a piece of his mind.
13. Exit the Teahouse and give Midori the travelogue written by Ramsay to complete the quest.

After completing Chisatos Letter and obtaining the Memento Lense during the Sacred Offering quest, players will need to visit Jinren Island to start this quest. This will require players to search for four initial old stone slates to unlock the hidden treasure’s door mechanism.

1. Head towards Jinren Island.
2. Explore the area. It is very important to search for cage keys around the area to be able to collect all rewards within the island. We will also find a cage where a person is held prisoner by bandits.
3. After talking to Saimon Jirou, climb up this tree.
4. The cage key is mysteriously found on one of the trees branches.
5. Use the key to open the cage and talk to Saimon Jirou.
6. As soon as the cage is opened, Jirou runs away. Search for him on the island and talk to him. He will then require you to find old stone slates to unlock the chamber where the treasure you’re searching for is kept.
7. If you have been exploring and looting almost every crate, barrel and solving puzzles, then you might already be in possession of the old stone slates.
   • Map location of the old stone slates.
   • The first old stone slate location is accessed during the exploration of the dried up well behind the Konda village chiefs house. Click here to start the Strange Story in Konda quest.
   • The second old stone slate location can be visited anytime when players choose to complete the Sacred Sakura Cleansing in Kamisato Estate after completing the Sacrificial Offering quest.
   • The third old stone slate location can be visited anytime but is best done when doing the Sacred Sakura Cleansing in Araumi also after the Sacrificial Offering quest.
   • The fourth old stone slate location is found under Araumi.
8. Report back to Saimon Jirou when you have obtained the four old stone slates. He will then give instructions to find the fifth stone slate.
9. Being the adventurous player we are, we head towards the marked location to obtain the final stone slate. We then realize that there is no fifth stone slate and that we have been lied to.
10. We proceed to confront Saimon Jirou, but he is no longer there.
11. Head to the marked location to find an imprisoned Jirou. We now fight his captors, Forgot to Name Himself: The Nameless Bandit Leader, Kouichirou: I’ve Been Waiting For You, Kojirou: Is This Feeling Loss?, and Vitaly: Too Long A Pencil Pusher along with their other Fatui minions.
12. After defeating the enemies, we free Jirou and talk about what he did. He will then give us the key to the treasure.
13. Place the old stone slates on the vacant slots on the floor.
14. Follow the sequence of activating the tiles to open the door.
15. Opening the chest rewards you with unexpected items.
16. Head back to Konda Village and talk to Saimon Katsumi and Saimon Eri.

Saimon Katsumi explains that the treasure found there was surplus grain after every harvest. The location was a known granary by the farmers of Narukami Island. This then completes the quest of the Farmer’s Treasure.

The Serpent’s Head is located at Yashiori Island. If you don’t see it on your map, that means that you have not yet unlocked the quest there or have not been able to visit the island.

After a laborious task, we ventured out towards the islands and discovered the Serpent’s Head door puzzle.

At the end of the gaping jaw of the serpent is a locked metal door on the ground. To open this:

1. We need to guide two electro seelies into their courts. They will be positioned where the eye of the serpent will be.
2. Jump down the open door and explore the room.
3. To the right is another door, and to the left is the lever to open the door and a torn page over this stone.
4. After opening the second door, we jump down again and arrive to this door puzzle. Follow the sequence of activating the levers to open the doors and jump down the last chamber.
5. Defeat the lone samurai by the tomb.
6. After defeating the samurai, get close to the sword and tombstone and leave a dendrobium on it.
7. Facing the tombstone, turn to your right to find the exit. Swim towards the lever, open the door and exit the chamber.

Inazuma is a mountainous region, and most if not all of the puzzles lead you to caves, caverns, and chasms. In them are electroculus and other quest-related items that come in handy when needed.

We have obtained information that Cirila might be in Skellige. We need to find a boat that will take you there. Here’s how to do it.

1. Go to the docks; there are three ships docked there currently.
2. Approach the crew of the Atropos and attempt to hire them for the voyage.
3. Look for Flask, the ship’s captain at the Golden Sturgeon.
4. Pay him a thousand orens to have him sober up and close the deal to travel to Skellige.
5. You wake up on the shores of Skellige after the previous mishap with the pirates in the stormy Skelligan sea.
6. Go to the port of Kaer Trolde. Meet with Yennefer during the eulogy of King Bran of Clan Tuirseach.

The King is Dead – Long Live the King

1. Enter Yennefer’s room and get a change of clothes before meeting her at Kaer Trolde Keep.
2. Proceed to the Keep and meet with Yennefer and the nobles.
3. Cerys an Craite challenges you to a race. Choose to participate in the race to somewhat gain the nobles’ trust.
4. After the race, talk to Yennefer in private about her plans.
5. Crows are perched by the door of the laboratory. Going straight in will alarm Ermion.
6. Exit by the window, there is a ledge, use it to get to Ermion’s lab.
7. Enter this room and investigate using your Witcher Sense. There are four pairs of a bear along side a wolf. Then check the water basin.
8. As you proceed attempt to open the door, you cut your hand and then animals begin to animate. Defeat all the bears and wolves.
9. Once inside the room, take whatever is of value before getting near the statue.
10. Place the mug of mead on the statues hand to open a secret door.
11. Get the mask of Uroboros and hurry back to the wake. On your way out, you are confronted with a tan Earth Elemental Golem. Defeat it and exit the chamber by teleportation.
12. Talk with Crach an Craite about the magic anomaly on Ard Skellig.

Echoes Of The Past

1. Meet with Yennefer at the magic cataclysm site.
2. Using the mask of Uroboros, you see two people emerging from a portal.
3. In the second area, you see people about to fight then an explosion which may have caused the forests destruction.
4. The third shows Ciri being wounded and chased but escaping through a portal.
5. Follow Yennefer to find the likely source of the magical residue from the portal.
6. You found out that Ciri’s companion escaped using a portal. And that the one who wounded her might be under this tree.
7. It is revealed that Ciri was still being followed by the Wild Hunt, and she was lucky to get out of their grasp.

Missing Persons

1. Go to Lofoten and investigate.
2. You get information that Craven was helping Ciri and was outcast because of it. Find him in Freya’s garden.

Nameless

1. As you arrive at the garden, the missing persons quest is completed and is immediately followed by Nameless quest. This however continues the search for craven. Use your witcher sense to find clues as to where he might be.
2. Use the levers to open the flood gates.
3. Swim across the flood gates and proceed to the mansion.
4. As you investigate inside Morkvarg appears.
5. You fight with him and you are given the option to let him go or finish him off. There is not much difference really as you will eventually kill him off to rid the garden of its monster.
6. Proceed inside the well that leads to a cave to find Craven’s body.
7. Take the body out of the cave and bring it to Yennefer. She brings Craven to life and knows his true name to be Skjall. He fished Ciri out of the sea and took her in his house to heal. Skjall was cast out of the village because of Ciri, who brought the Wild Hunt with her, which caused a great calamity.
8. The villagers are furious about what you did in Freya’s garden, but according to the account of Skjall, there was a mention of an ugly being. This will then take you back to Velen, into the Baron’s estate.

As the quest is completed, The Last Wish side quest unlocks. The quest will test Yennefer and Geralt’s relationship, whether it was real or rather manipulated by a djinn they had previously encountered.

1. Teleport to Kamisato Estate and head towards this shrine near the beach.
2. Use the lens on the statuette to reveal another fox statue. Switch to an electro character and use a charged or special attack to obtain a key-shaped ward.
3. After obtaining the ward, head towards the marked area of the islet. There are no quest markers in our map, however, the quest does talk about beach flats. Once we arrive at the location, use the lens on the statuette to reveal the doorway inside the cave.
4. Inside we find another shrine. Use the key-shaped ward to reveal the pattern for the puzzle.
5. Change the numbers on each post that correspond to the numbers in the pattern.
6. Solving the puzzle will summon two Ochimushas. Defeat them both to complete the cleansing ritual. Take a look around the cave to find chests and electroculus. There’s also another tunnel leading outside another islet which contain other interesting items.
7. Report back to Kazari, under the dried well behind the village chief’s house.

After completely cleansing the Chinju Forest, Araumi, and now the Kamisato Estate; we are now one step closer to completing the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual. As we speak with Kazari, she then points us towards Mt. Yougou as the final cleansing location.

This is Ganyu’s story quest. This feature is unlocked at Adventure Rank 40 and players are able to participate provided they have enough keys to unlock a character’s story. Keys are obtain when players have completed eight daily quests.

Sinae Unicornis Chapter: Act 1

The quest starts when Ganyu, for sometime, had disappeared, and three secretaries from the Jade Chamber were found outside the Yujing Terrace. Talking about how difficult Ganyu’s workload were that even the three of them couldn’t handle it.

1. Proceed to Mount Aocang and talk to Ganyu about why she left Liyue.
2. While in the middle of a conversation, Cloud Retainer will appear and join the discussion and begin to narrate Ganyu’s story.
   • Most benevolent among all Adepti are the Qilin.
   • They drink only spring water and eat only whole grain.
   • But perhaps the mountainous dwellings of Adepti in Jueyun Karst might be too lonely for her human side.
   • Under moonlight did one see her last.
   • She stood by the precipice’s edge.
   • And upon the mist-veiled mountains she gazed.
   • Her thin figure was immersed in the vast sea of clouds.
   • One noticed her loneliness and sought to convince her to go back to the human world.
   • But, just then, she said thus: “Liyue harbor feels even lonelier that Jueyun Karst. When I look at the sea of clouds in Jueyun Karst, I merely feel the loneliness of a solitary cloud gazer. When I step into the sea of people in Liyue, I feel the loneliness of an inhuman that doesn’t belong to the human world”
3. Visit Ganyu prior to starting her trials.
4. As her trial starts, you may use any character with cryo abilities to activate the elemental monuments.
5. Use the air currents to fly up and across areas.
6. After completing this trial, head towards Xiao’s location for the second trial.
7. Start the trial by interacting with the Ley Line Monolith.
8. Defend it from the wave’s of monsters.
9. Once completed, report back to Xiao and tend to the visitor.
10. Return to Liyue Harbor with Ganyu.
11. Speak with Huixin at Yuehai Pavilion.
12. Talk to Bolai about his taxes at the Wanyou Boutique.
13. Visit Master Lu of the Fanmu Carpenter’s to verify Bolai’s accusations of tax evasion by Dongshengs the Second Life.
14. Clear Master Lu’s warehouse of unwanted occupants.
15. Check the back of the warehouse to obtain the invoice from Second Life.
16. Report to Huixin and tell her what you found.
17. Visit Dongsheng and tell him about what you found out.
18. Proceed to Xinyeu Kiosk for the meal appointment.
19. Visit the Jade Chamber secretaries with Ganyu.

Ganyu will then resume her position as the secretary then the quest is completed. Check back for more Genshin Impact character story gameplays. In the meantime, let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Hayashi of Tanuki in the Forest

Search for the source of the strange voice

1. Proceed to Chinjou Forest.
2. Upon arrival, we will hear someones voice. Look for its source.
3. Take the path to your left. This will lead you to Ioroi’s statue.
4. Defeat the hilichurls to interact with the statue.
5. Talk to the weird statue about the search for wards.
6. Ioroi spoke of a comb. However, we can only obtain it after we have found and played with three little tanukis.
7. First tanuki, Shousei, is immediately found on the path as we enter the quest area. It transforms into a torch, and, to reveal it, we will need a character with pyro element.
8. Second tanuki, Kichiboushi, is found hiding under a wooden barrel on a rock surrounded by hilichurls. Defeat the hilichurls and destroy the wooden barrel to reveal the tanuki.
9. Third tanuki, Gyoubu Koban, is found also along the path. Just ahead of where the first tanuki is found. It will lead us towards the stream and transform into three torches. Use a pyro element character to reveal it.
10. Report back to Ioroi and receive the promised comb ward.
11. After the conversation, head towards the location of the barrier. Kichiboushi will help you locate the entrance.
12. Here we once again find a puzzle. Use the combination to the corresponding posts to disable the barrier.
13. Ochimusa, the mysterious samurai will again be summoned. Defeat him to cleanse the area.
14. Kazari appears right after defeating the samurai. A cut scene and dialogue ensues before the quest is completed.

We have now finished cleansing the Chinju Forest barrier. This is the third one that we have cleansed after entering the dry well in Konda and the abandoned shrine near Mount Yougou.

Let us now proceed to either of the other locations, Araumi or Kamisato Estate to complete the Sacred Cleansing Ritual.

For the second part of the cleansing ritual, let’s go to Araumi.

1. As we arrive in Araumi, proceed to this broken tower. You can hardly miss this one. The tower is also surrounded by monsters. Its up to you if you’d like to clear them first or just ignore them completely.
2. The floor of this tower is a door. To open it, we need to use the lens on the statuette.
3. There are three of them, and each time we use the lens, hidden mechanisms appear behind it.
4. Interact with the three mechanisms, and the floor splits open.
5. Summon the electrogranum and immediately climb down heading straight towards the barrier.
6. Inside the barrier are fox statues.
7. Use any electro attacks your character has to activate the fox statue and obtain the scroll-shaped ward.
8. Opposite the barrier is another puzzle that we need to solve. Check the number patterns for reference.
9. Expose the posts by using the lens on the statuettes.
10. We again meet our samurai friend. Defeat him to cleanse the area.
11. After defeating the samurai, let’s explore the area. We turn to our right to find a door with two seelie courts and an enigmatic page.
12. The first seelie is found floating to the side of the right pillar.
13. To get to the second seelie, head towards the opposite corridor until you reach a puzzle. You will find the second seelie hovering above the puzzle.
14. We couldn’t remember the exact combinations we did to solve this puzzle, but it took a while to do so.
15. Follow the second seelie towards the seelie court then interact with the mechanism to open the door. Outside you will see two sets of stairs. With half of them submerged underwater. Dive down and swim through the opening.
16. You will see another set of stairs that will lead you to another puzzle. Again, we lost track of how we did the puzzle but this is what it would look like when solved.
17. Explore the area to find more mechanisms and/or chests. Be prepared for ruin guards and more.
18. After solving the second puzzle, the water outside is drained. This will reveal another door for us to explore.
19. Inside we will gain access to a waypoint beacon.
20. Search the area to find this puzzle. Start on the outside and circle counterclockwise. Then move in and circle clockwise. As you cross each one, the tiles will become activated. (Note the direction of the arrows in the picture below)
21. In the second chamber, we find another puzzle. Follow the arrows to activate every tile.
22. Once completed, interact with the mechanism to reveal a hidden domain entrance.
23. The domain itself is one giant puzzle piece. We will need to locate three amulets inside rooms in order to open the main door.
24. Once all three are obtained, head towards the main door to place the three amulets we’ve collected.
25. Inside the room are two samurai’s that we need to defeat in order to complete the domain.

We have now cleansed two out of three areas indicated in our quest. This is in addition to the first two cleansing we’ve done in Konda village and the abandoned shrine.

We have also discovered a total of four puzzles, a waypoint beacon, and a hidden domain. After all that, let us head towards the Kamisato Estate for the final cleansing.

1. Visit the abandoned shrine in the northeast of Konda Village.
2. Investigate the mysterious shadows found within the shrine.
   • At the Abandoned Shrine’s entrance.
   • Beside this fox statue near the steps.
   • Outside the temple.
   • In a clearing opposite the temple.
   • The second fox statue.
   • And oddly, one on the roof of the temple.
3. Have three of them gather in this area.
4. Once they are all gathered, we will need to visit Inagi Hotomi at the Grand Narukami Shrine to unlock the Memento Lens.
5. Once obtained, equip the Memento Lens by pressing B to access your bag/inventory. Under the gadget tab, click on the Lens and press equip at the bottom right.
6. With the lens equipped, head back to the Abandoned Shrine and investigate the Earth Kitsune Statuette. Press Z to use the equipped lens and point your view towards the ones that are emitting purple lights. This will show you a glimpse of the events that had transpired within the abandoned shrine.
7. After investigating, we will then proceed inside a nearby cave. To start the cleansing process, we need to solve the puzzle. The first post should be marked as one (1). The middle should be two (2) and the rest should be three (3).
8. A Mysterious Samurai will again appear. Defeat the Samurai and talk with Kazari to complete the cleansing process in the area.

During the cutscene conversation, Kazari mentions that there are more barriers located in other sites that need cleansing to rid them of evil. And that is where we will go next. Check back for the continuation of this quest as we proceed with the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.

As we went and did our nameless samurai’s errand, we came across Miyuki, a shrine maiden, and Toranosuke, a shogunate officer, talked about the Mikage Furnace. Out of curiosity we:

Ask The Two About The Situation

1. Talk to Toranosuke about the Mikage Furnace.
2. Look for Xavier and ask about the Mikage Furnace.
3. Observe the Furnace from the three points marked on your map.
4. As you proceed to other areas, always prepare and bring lots of health replenishing and attack & defense enhancing dishes.
5. Report back to Xavier. He will then give you directions on where to find the Kamujima Cannons.
6. Every cannon location has an electrogranum. Interact with it before operating the cannons.
7. Press F to operate the cannon. Use W, A, S, D to change its orientation then press Enter to fire.
8. Repeat that as many times as needed on three locations until you are able to hit the rift.
9. The protective dome shatters and the area can now be explored.
10. Report back to Xavier.
11. Defeat the attacking Fatui and protect Xavier.
12. Head towards the furnace to take a closer look.
13. After landing at the marked spot. Take out your Special Kamera and take a picture of the furnace.
14. Show Xavier the picture you took of the furnace.

Priority Investigation (Day 1)

1. Talk to Xavier.
2. Take the beacons to the marked location on the map.
3. Report back to Xavier and wait for the beacons to collect data.

Purification Device (Day 2)

1. For the second day, head back to Xavier and inquire whether he has finished gathering information from furnace. He then tells you about an emergency purification device to be used for the furnace.
2. Xavier requests that you gather three Crystal Marrows.
3. After gathering, report back to Xavier, so he can begin construction of the purification device.

Data Collection (Day 3)

1. Visit Xavier and collect the beacons.
2. Return to Xavier and have him analyze the collected data.

Process Is Everything (Day 4)

1. Let’s head back to Xavier and talk to him about how the furnace is doing. He would like you to check the furnace and see how the purification device is doing. To do this, we will need to use our camera.
2. Press B to access your bag / inventory.
3. Under the Gadget tab, choose either the Kamera or the Special Kamera and press equip at the bottom right.
4. Once equipped, head over to the designated areas and press Z to take pictures using the chosen camera.
5. After taking the photos, return to Xavier and pass along the pictures. He will then analyze them, and then we are told to come back the following day.

Functional Test (Day 5)

1. Meet with Xavier and help him gather three Okinabutos.
2. Okinabutos are found almost everywhere in Inazuma. Once you, gathered all of them, report back to Xavier and give him the Okinabutos.

Final Preparations (Day 6)

1. Talk to Xavier.
2. Collect the planks and prepare to defeat the enemies surrounding the area.
3. Once collected, proceed to the three marked locations and repair the hanging bridges leading to the furnace.

The Last Act (Day 7)

1. Talk to Xavier for an update about the furnace.
2. Get close to the furnace by meeting with Xavier at the marked location.
3. Search for the missing components. Areas marked with arrows pinpoint the exact locations of these components.
4. Bring the retrieved components to Xavier.
5. Go deep into the furnace for the final check of the purification device.
6. Defeat the Fatui while Xavier prepares the purification device for deployment.
7. After defeating the Fatui, proceed towards the bottom of the furnace and meet with Xavier.
8. Activate the purification device and defeat six Fatui.
9. After defeating the enemies, a cut scene plays. This signifies that the furnace is now up and running again.
10. Talk to Xavier to confirm that the furnace is running once again.
11. We then proceed to the top of the furnace.
12. Speak to Xavier about the furnace.
13. Report back to Toranosuke to complete the quest and receive your rewards.

This world quest had been built up for seven days straight and is now finally complete. However, take note that taking on the Fatui within this area is very difficult, especially if your characters are not equipped with the right weapons and artifacts.

Also, do keep in mind that your party members should be somewhat resistant to the electro environment of Inazuma.

We finally understand that this quest, like many others, needs to be done daily. So there is plenty of time to ready your characters and build a good party to face the Fatui under the harsh environment of Inazuma.

5. Locate Saimon Eri, an old woman and talk to her about anything out of the ordinary. She will then tell you about the mora found near the dry well at the back of the village chief’s house.
6. Talk to the Village Chief and obtain permission to look around.
7. Talk to Futaba and ask about anything strange happening around the village.
8. Climb up the rooftop and talk to Takeru about the strange things happening around the village.
9. The first clue is bags of mora found inside a bucket beside the dry well behind the village chiefs house according to Saimon Eri.
10. The second clue is the floating bag found at the gully as told by Futaba.
11. The third clue is the piece of paper found in the broken cart that Takeru mentioned.
12. After gathering all the evidence, return to the Village Chief and present to him what you have uncovered.
13. The Village Chief will then point you to a location. Proceed to that location and defeat all the enemies.
14. After defeating the enemies, dig up the pile of dirt and retrieve an old rusty key.
15. Use the key to unlock the locked dry well behind the village chief’s house and climb down.
16. Explore the bottom of the well and get rid of this stone pile blocking the door.
17. Get through the barrier and interact with this post.
18. Press F to use the ward you picked up earlier and press confirm.
19. This will activate the shrine and then we solve a puzzle.
20. Adjust the order of the post values according to the pattern.
21. Ochimusa, a phantom warrior appears. Defeat the warrior to cleanse the shrine of evil.
22. Talk to Zakari afterwards.

Before the quest is completed, Zakari mentions places with barriers similar to this one that needs cleansing. The Sacrificial Offering quest is unlocked, and we will move on to that next.

1. Talk to Furuya Noboru.
2. Find Oda Tarou and ask him some questions.
3. Head out towards Seirai Island and take four pictures. Refer to the pictures Oda Tarou gave you.
4. For the first picture:

3. Press read at the bottom right of the screen after selecting one of the picture frames.

Seirai Stormchasers Part I

Investigate The First Warding Stone

1. Proceed to the marked area in the map.
2. Meet up with Eiko and Taisuke to check the warding stone.
3. Follow the cat footprints from the warding stone towards the shrine.
4. Explore the shrine and check to see if there are people around to talk with.
5. Talk to Neko (black cat), the provisional head priestess.
6. Neko requests that you check the offering box.
7. Head to the nearby village and gather materials to repair the offering box.
8. We are greeted with Treasure Hoarders as we arrive at the village. Defeat all of them.
9. After defeating the Treasure Hoarders, a cutscene plays with one of them begging for mercy. They then point you towards their camp.
10. Defeat more of the Treasure Hoarders in the camp.
11. Once the camp is clear, investigate the boxes to get the following materials: rope, nails and wood planks.
12. With everything gathered, return to the Asase Shrine and head straight to the offering box to fix it.
13. Report back to Neko about the offering box repairs.
14. Head back to Taisuke and Eiko to seal the warding stone.
15. First Warding Stone Orientation: Three (3), Four (4), Four (4) Solving this puzzle with help reduce the storms radius at Amakumo Peak.

Seirai Stormchasers Part II

Seal the Second Warding Stone

1. Head towards the location of the second warding stone.
2. Here we only see two paper charm hangers and the warding stone.
3. As soon as we get close to them, three ronins appear near the warding stone. Defeat all of them, so we can proceed towards the third paper charm hanger.
4. After defeating the ronins, head north and make your way towards this floating stone to find the third charm hanger.
5. Second Warding Stone Orientation: two (2), Four (4) and three (3) for the charm hanger on the floating stone.

Seirai Stormchasers Part III

Seal the Third Warding Stone

1. Proceed to the next marked area and meet with Taisuke and Eiko.
2. This time, we will have to find the path towards the warding stone.
3. Use this device to transform you into a wisp. This will transport you towards the warding stone.
4. Once you reach the floating stone, summon the electrogranum and press T to reach the floating stones and get to the charm hangers and the warding stone.
5. Third Warding Stone Orientation: three (3), three (3) and four (4).

Seirai Stormchasers Part IV

Seal the Fourth Warding Stone

1. To reach the fourth warding stone, summon the electrogranum to easily reach the floating stone.
2. The Final Warding Stone Orientation: four (4), four (4) and four (4).
3. After solving this puzzle, explore the platform and defeat the Thunder Manifestation.
4. After defeating the thunder manifestation, activate the Ley Line Blossom using forty (40) original resins.
5. Continue exploring the area, hopping between floating stones until you find chests and electroculus.
6. After locating and gathering everything, return to Eiko and Taisuke.

We can now visit Amakumo Peak without the fear of being hit with deadly lightning. This would be the perfect time for us to start and complete the Reminiscence of Seirai quest.

The Rumored Alchemist (Albedo’s Story Quest)

1. Head to Dragonspine entrance and look for Rosaria.
2. Ask her about Albedo’s whereabouts.

The Genius Researcher and the Seed of Another World

1. Head towards the mountains and press the mouse scroll wheel to use your Elemental Sight.
2. Follow Albedo’s tracks.
3. You will find Albedo, doing a portrait of the hilichurls. Defeat them to talk with Albedo.
4. After the conversation, head towards the test site.
5. Upon arrival, a dialogue with Albedo starts.

The First Experiment: Elements

1. Defeat the slimes to proceed further with the quest.
2. After defeating the slimes, talk to Albedo.
3. Gather three pieces of Starsilver.
4. Once gathered, proceed to Albedo’s camp site.
5. Take the potion Albedo prepared.
6. Press B to access your bag / inventory.
7. Under the Quest tab, find the Experimental Potion and press Use at the bottom right.

The Second Experiment: The World

1. Observe the installations inside the camp.
2. Interact with the following:
   • Record Board.
   • Shelf.
   • Table.
3. Talk to Albedo.
4. Learn the recipe Sunshine Sprat and cook the dish for Albedo.
5. Press B to access your bag / inventory.
6. Under the Precious Items tab, look for the Sunshine Sprat recipe and press Use to at the bottom right to learn the recipe.
7. Head towards the cooking pot, make sure there is fire before pressing F to cook.
8. On the Cook tab, locate the Sunshine Sprat recipe. Make sure to have all the ingredients ready for cooking. If you do not have them, you may want to go and find or buy them first before pressing Cook.
9. After cooking, hand over the dish to Albedo.
10. Look for the missing items. One is found on the shelf, and the other is under the table.
11. After finding the Anemo Mark, return to Albedo.

The Third Experiment: Life

1. Proceed to the next location.
2. Reach the marked locations before the time runs out.
3. Talk to Albedo.

The Final Experiment: Withering Glory

1. Go to the next location for the intellegence test.
2. There are two mechanisms found in the area, the Ruin Braziers and Seelie Courts.
3. For the Ruin Braziers, simply climb up this pile of stone and activate the seelie, then immediately activate the other seelie. This completely activates the Ruin Braziers.
4. Next is the Seelie Courts. One seelie is found over the rock formation and the other is over a sunken pillar by the water.
5. Once you’ve activated the two mechanisms, the third one will be available for interaction. Press F to activate.
6. Now proceed to investigate the area after the water has been drained.
7. Report back to the camp and talk to Albedo about his conclusion.
8. After the conversation, Albedo reveals that he might one day cause destruction on Teyvat and wishes that the Traveler be able to stop him.

This concludes the story quest for Albedo. We look forward to continuing his storyline and what other role our Traveler might play in future game updates.

Momentous decisions altering the fate of entire nations are often made under unusual circumstances. For example, when Geralt was asked to participate in Radovid’s assassination plot in a bathhouse. If he agreed to join, he was to attend the meeting in a warehouse by the docks where the co-conspirators hash out the details of assassinating the most powerful ruler in the north.

1. Meet with Djikstra, Roche and Thaler at the portside warehouse.
2. Djikstra starts by involving Philippa’s name in on the plot. She has been on the run even before her eyes were blinded by King Radovid. However, Philippa is nowhere to be found so Djikstra insists that Geralt report a lie to Radovid.
3. You will be given a choice of whether you are in it or not.
4. After the swift planning phase, proceed to Radovid’s ship. Give him the information to lure him out.
5. Just outside the door, Philippa awaits for Geralt. She tells him that Radovid will never fall for the trap unless he actually has something of value to give to the King.
6. The sorceress then givs Geralt a ring, a ruby etched with a Redanian Eagle. It was the seal of Radovids father.
7. Having an audience with the King, Geralt is then interrupted when Radovid spoke about trickery.
8. We then reply about professionalism and that we have proof to back up out claims. Geralt then hands over the ring to which Radovid immediately identifies as his fathers.
9. Just as you arrive at the location of the ambush, Radovid orders his men to kill Philippa and Geralt. (Wouldn’t you want to squeeze his head like a pimple after that!)
10. An alley fight ensues. Follow Roche and get to Radovid.
11. Philippa kills Radovid and Roche is perplexed as to how she knew of their plan. Geralt explains that she had been eavesdropping during their planning back at the warehouse.
12. Just as everyone was about to celebrate, Djikstra comes out from the backstage of Madam Irina’s theater declaring that there will be no truce his ambition to rule Redania and war against its enemies.
13. Djikstra wishes Geralt to walk away as he slaughters Roche, Ves, Thaler and the others that would go against him. But we were not about to abandon our friends, so we fight with and for them.
14. Fight and kill Djikstra and his men.

The choices we make here will affect the outcome of the game. If we side with the Temerians and kill Djikstra, we will have the Queen Ciri ending. If not, then Djikstra has Thaler, Roche, and Ves killed. He becomes chancellor of Redania, wins over Nilfgaard, and becomes an invader.

After acquiring the sunstone and freeing Fringilla from Emhyr, we now proceed to face the Wild Hunt.

1. Talk to Avallac’h to proceed with the plan.
2. As soon as the Naglfar appears, the sea is then turned to ice and the warriors of the Wild Hunt appear.
3. We start by defeating Caranthir with Ciri.
4. Defeat all of the warriors and hounds that spawn, slowly making your way towards Caranthir.
5. Caranthir uses teleportation, which makes him a tricky foe to chase and kill.
6. After Ciri has defeated Caranthir, we switch to Geralt.
7. And this time, our enemy is able to summon ice golems and even shoot ice orbs at you so be very careful.
8. Igni sign seems to cancel his spells but you’ll need to get very close in order for it to work. Throwing bombs might help as well, but you’ll have to anticipate his movements. It’s best done after Caranthir’s teleportation.
9. After defeating Caranthir, the ice breaks and Geralt falls deep into the water. Swim top side while evading falling debris and not drown.
10. Now that we are out of the water, it is time to board the Naglfar and face Eredin. Getting there won’t be easy, so make sure you’ve got plenty of bombs and food.
11. We’re finally face Eredin. To be able to deal great damage, we must anticipate his moves, and that includes his teleportation. Fighting him on the Naglfar is great since it’s a small space, but he then opens a portal and transports Geralt to a much wider plain.
12. Pay close attention to his attacks and where he is stationary. Here, he stands still with one hand above his head, seemingly calling down a rain of exploding orbs. Get close to him while he is in this state to be able to deal damage.
13. Next thing to notice is when he kneels with one knee and one hand on the ground and summons exploding orbs in front of Geralt. He will be very far from you to do this, bombs have little effect so you’ll need to get very close. Avoid all the orbs so you won’t take damage.
14. And finally his attack where he sends waves of frost towards Geralt. First swing sends one wave. The second sends three and the third sends five waves.
15. With very low HP, Eredin attempts to escape using a portal. Follow him, and you will be back at the Naglfar.
16. A cut scene is played where Geralt delivers a very lucky and damaging strike to Eredin. Hitting the enemies mask with the tip of his blade and gouging out his eye in the process.
17. With his dying breathe he tells Geralt about how Avallac’h had played them all and took Cirila for himself.

Tedd Deireadh, The Final Age

1. Follow Yennefer and head towards the tower.
2. To get there faster you may ride a horse. But we’ve found that to be troublesome as the horses are easily spooked which delays our movement forward, and so we proceeded on foot.
3. After reaching the ruins, Yennefer will create a tear in the magic barricade. Enter it to proceed to the Elven Tower.
4. Geralt was about to attack Avallac’h when Ciri appears from behind.
5. She tells Geralt that it was she who wanted to open the tower. To finally confront her destiny and to end the White Frost.
6. Ciri then enters the portal.

Something Ends, Something Begins

The game’s ending will depend on the previous choices made by Geralt. Particularly choices made in the following quests. After reading the possible outcomes listed below, click here to check which path Ciri took after all the decisions we made during the game.

Ciri Dies

This ending can only be achieved by selecting the highlighted options as responses to events and questions.

1. Blood on the Battlefield – select the option “Relax, you don’t have to be good at everything”. Visit and accept payment from Emhyr by selecting “Definitely need it more than you”.
2. Final Preparations – Accompany Ciri to meet with Philippa and Margarita.
3. Child of the Elder Blood – select the option “Calm down” when she loses her temper and the option “No time” when she asks to visit Skjalls grave.

Ciri lives and becomes a Witcher

This ending can only be achieved by selecting the highlighted options as responses to events and questions.

1. Blood on the Battlefield – select “Velen then”.
2. Final Preparations – make Ciri go alone to talk with the Philippa and Margarita.
3. Child of Elder Blood – select “Go for it” when she loses her temper and the option “Yeah, I’ll go with you” when she asks to visit Skjalls grave.

Ciri lives and becomes the Empress

This ending can only be achieved by selecting the highlighted options as responses to events and questions.

1. Blood on the Battlefield – select “I know what might lift your spirits”. After Bald Mountain select “Gotta visit the Emperor first” instead of Velen. Then select “Didn’t do it for the coin” when offered payment by Emhyr.
2. Make sure that Nilfgaard wins in:
   • An Eye for an Eye.
   • A Deadly Plot.
   • Redania’s Most Wanted.
   • Blindingly Obvious – be pleasant with Djikstra.
   • Reason of State – go against Djikstra.
3. Child of the Elder Blood – select “Go for it” when she loses her temper and select “Yeah, I’ll go with you” when she asks to visit Skjalls grave.

1. Head out to Tatarasuna, and, on the marked area in the map, you will find a nameless samurai.
2. Talk to the nameless samurai and win a duel with him. After defeating him, he asks that you help him find his lost sword.
3. Now search for the blade mentioned by the nameless samurai.
4. Return the blade and win another duel with him.
5. After defeating him the second time, he will remember drinking under the moonlight with his companions.
6. Proceed to Kujou Encampment and talk to Kujou Masahito about the wine our nameless samurai mentioned.
7. Look for Matsudaira. Talk to him to obtain the wine.
8. Return to our nameless samurai and give him the wine. He regains his memory after drinking and utters his name, Masanori.
9. Accept the challenge and defeat him for the third time.
10. After his defeat, we proceed with a conversation and then the quest is completed.

Do notice that Masanori, the nameless samurai, is easily defeated on the first duel. And each time we complete a task and report back to him, we are invited to a duel.

For him to be defeated, players must have built-up characters that are capable of dealing high damages. Items with higher attack power, preferably set artifacts and weapons with five stars, are recommended. Even better, if you have friends come visit your world and help with defeating stronger foes.

His defenses are not so strong for the first duel, but it can be very hard to defeat him for the following duels, especially if the players’ characters are not built well enough to deal significant damage. Hence, the need to obtain higher-tier weapons and artifacts.

You’ll never know when you’ll meet another foe quite as tough as our nameless samurai, so be sure to equip your characters with the best possible and available weapons and artifacts.

To start, head to Cuijue Slope and, at its center, interact with the stone tablet to read the inscriptions. This will unlock the quest: Nine Pillars of Peace. However, there will be no markers to indicate what the next step is. This guide will be very brief, but the task of obtaining geoculus from all of Liyue will be the challenge.

1. Open you map and look for the Statue of Seven. Teleport to it and then press F to interact with it.
2. You will be presented with options. Select Worship Statue and then you will see what rewards are given when you provide enough number of geoculus to the statue. You will also see here that the stone of remembrance is part of the reward. We will be using it to activate all of the pillars.
3. Around Cuijue Slope are nine pillars that look like this. Place the stone of remembrance on the socket that looks like this. This will activate the pillars.
4. When you obtain enough stones of remembrance and activate the pillars, this ruin door opens.
5. At the center of the chamber sits a Ruin Guard which immediately comes alive when you get near it.To immobilize it, switch to a character equipped with a bow then target the eyes and back with charged attacks.
6. Switch your characters to inflict all sorts of elemental and physical damage to the monster.
7. Next on the list of monsters to slay are two geovishap hatchlings.
8. When the monsters turn red, look for these stones and destroy them. These enhances the monsters attributes making them harder to kill.
9. The third and final monster we need to deal with is the Ruin Hunter. This one floats and proves to be a tough one to handle. All you need to do is to dodge its attacks and wait until you see its eye glow up. That is when it is most vulnerable. Target its eyes with a charged attack to temporarily immobilize it and then hit it with a barrage of whatever attack you can until it flies again.
10. Again, destroy the stone that enhances the monsters. Use your characters elemental abilities to your advantage.
11. After eliminating all the ruin monsters, a door opens. Inside are chests containing rewards.
12. One of them is the Royal Flora, a five star artifact that is part of the Noblesse Oblige set. Click here to know more about obtaining and upgrading them.
13. There is also the Dull Ring, a relic that has been lost and forgotten. Visit Liyue Harbor and have it appraise by antique dealers.
14. Go to Bolai and present the ring for appraisal. His offer is one hundred eighty thousand (180,000) mora plus a few add-ons.
15. Visit Linlang and show her the ring. She will offer two hundred thousand (200,000) mora for it.
16. To whom you give the ring is at your own discretion. And after that the quest is complete.

If it is of any help, here is the location of our final geoculus. We have searched every nook and cranny in Liyue, and we would never have thought this is where we would find it.

After arriving at Rosemary and Thyme in Novigrad. Geralt wastes no time in preparing to face the Eredin of the Wild Hunt. Right after the events in Kaer Morhen, his friends set out to find aid in defeating the Wild Hunt. And now that Imlerith is no more, morale is high for everyone involved.

Talk to Avallac’h

1. Look for Avallac’h inside the Rosemary and Thyme.
2. He then speaks of the two remaining generals of Eredin, Caranthir, and Ge’el.
3. He also plans to visit Ge’el and persuade him to visit Corrine Tilly, an oneiromancer, a sorceress specialized in dream interpretation.

Through Time and Space

1. Proceed outside Corrine Tilly’s house and join Avallac’h.
2. At the basement is a portal which is supposed to lead you to another dimension to speak with Ge’el.
3. Fight off the sandcrabs while waiting for the portal to activate.
4. After entering the previous portal. Navigate your way towards the next one. Avoid the poisonous fumes.
5. You’re teleported underwater. Proceed towards the next portal.
6. Avoid freezing in the snow by hiding behind rocks and buildings until you reach the lighthouse.
7. Meet with Avallac’h under the lighthouse and wait for the next portal.
8. Finally we talk face to face with Ge’el, one of Eredin’s generals.
9. Geralt and Avallac’h take him to Novigrad, and he agrees to dream his kings last moments.
10. He then dreams of his king dying, and by his side was Eredin.
11. After finding out that Avallac’h’s claim was true. He instructs everyone to sail into Skellige. To find the sunstone and summon the Naglfr and along with it, Eredin, and no Aen Elle shall aid him.
12. Avallac’h transports Ge’el back then talks to Geralt about matters of trust. He insists that Ge’el is trustworthy, and that, with the help of everyone, they will be able to defeat Eredin.

Talk to Triss

1. Talk to Triss inside the Rosemary and Thyme.
2. She gets mad at Geralt after finding out that he took Ciri and fought Imlerith. Apologize to her on the time limited options to calm her down.
3. She then divulges information about Philippa Eilhart’s abduction. Both Triss and Geralt proceed to the fountian outside Passiflora to perform hydromancy and locate where Philippa was taken.

Blindingly Obvious

1. Head to the bath house with Triss. You arrive with Djikstra outside and Philippa on a rampage inside the bath house.
2. Chase after Philippa. Defeat Djikstra’s henchmen in the bath house and take the secret door to enter the sewers. Avoid fighting Bart in the process.
3. Sneak towards Philippa. Avoid making to much noise to catch her off guard.
4. As you take Philippa back to the bath house, Djikstra wants to get her into his custody and have her pay for the assassination attempt on his life. But Geralt makes a deal with Djikstra, an exchange, business information on Vizima for Philippa’s freedom.
5. Djikstra agrees and Triss takes Philippa out of the bath house.

Talk to Yennefer

1. Go to Yennefer at Crippled Kate’s.
2. Geralt tells her that Philippa is safe and is now with Triss.
3. She also has information on Margarita and tells you she is held captive inside the Oxenfurt prison.
4. Yennefer await’s the arrival of Abbé Faria, the only prisoner who escaped Oxenfurt prison.

The Great Escape

1. As Yennefer utters his name, he bolts out of Crippled Kate’s. Catch him to find out how to enter the Oxenfurt prison undetected.
2. After catching him on the roof, Geralt and Yennefer promises to let him go in exchange for the information.
3. Try to talk to Zoltan about providing Mahakaman to the guards at the prison. Then proceed to meet Yennefer.
4. Follow Yennefer to the designated location then enter the prison through the well.
5. Enter the chambers until you find a water hag. Kill it then use your Witcher Sense on this side of the wall to find a mechanism.
6. Check on other chambers using your Witcher Sense to find a lever.
7. Now head back to fix the broken mechanism and use it to open a door to the sewers.
8. At this point, turn right and enter the prison. If Zoltan had delivered ale, the guards will be drunk and asleep, but if not, then you will have to kill them all.
9. Search the rooms to find the cell where Sile and Margarita are being held. Look for the warden upstairs and obtain the key to unlock the cell door.
10. Eliminate every guard and the warden. Search his body to obtain the key then head back to Margarita.
11. Alert Yennefer and have her enter the prison through the sewers to rescue Margarita and Sile. Sile, however, is in bad shape and can no longer make it; she wishes to die on her own terms and asks that she be killed. We volunteer to grant her wish and spare Yennefer from suffering regret.
12. After putting her to rest, exit the prison and wait until dawn. (This only appears if you exit the prison during the night.)

Help Ciri Take Care Of Her Business in Novigrad

Help Ciri meet with the folks that extended help during her short stay in Novigrad. Get to know them and maybe extend some help as well.

Payback

1. Follow Ciri and check on Whoreson Junior.
   
2. Find Bea in the Golden Sturgeon.
3. Head to Valdo and his troupe at Farcorners. Talk with him and join them on a horse race.
4. During their preparation to depart from Novigrad, they run into a problem with their transportation. Their horses are in bad shape and locals aren’t selling them horse’s. They’re at risk of being burned alive on a pyre, so Ciri proposes to steal horses to help them get on their way.
5. You agree and proceed to the stables. Climb up and enter by the window.
6. Look for the key on the table to open the door, so Ciri can enter the stable.
7. Calm the spooked horses using the Axii sign.

A cut scene will play with the three of you fleeing the Redanian guards using the stolen horses and return back to Valdo’s.

Now we need to meet with Yennefer and the Lodge of Sorceress at Dandelion’s Inn.

The Spindrift Shall Never Return To The Sea (Eula’s Story Quest)

Shadow Of The Past

1. Talk to Master Jean at the Knights Headquarters.
2. Look for the former aristocrat in the city and talk to the person by the city wall.
3. Return to the Knights Headquarters and discuss the counterplan with Amber.
4. Go to the Stormbearer Mountains and find Eula.
5. Defeat the Fatui nearby.
6. Witness the young woman defeat the final Fatuus.

1. Go to The Plaza in front of the Cathedral.
2. Talk to Eula.
3. Talk to the locals and observe Eula’s demonstration.
4. Continue talking to locals (two more times).
5. Go to Dragonspine for aristocratic conduct training.
6. Talk to Eula to learn how the training will proceed.
7. Reach the destination without being launched or taking any damage.
8. Report back to Eula.
9. Go to the training location and activate the Ley Line Monolith.
10. Defeat the opponents without being launched or frozen.
11. When you’re finished, talk to Eula.
12. Go to Good Hunter to get a greeting gift.
13. Talk to Eula and Amber.
14. Get a Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut from Sara.

Through The Motions, To The Heart

1. Head towards Springvale and look for Schubert. Give him the Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut.
2. Go with him to meet his friends. Enter the domain and make sure to place in your party hydro and cryo characters.
3. Follow Schubert further inside.
4. Uncover their plan and defeat the Fatui.
5. Chase Schubert.
6. Speak with Eula.
7. Retrieve the diagram of the Mondstadt’s defenses.
8. Defeat Sergei and his cohorts.
9. Talk to Eula to complete the quest and exit the domain.

After the events at Kaer Morhen. Cirila trained with Avallac’h to control her power, gifted by being of elder blood. As days passed, she begins to be impatient and loses focus on her training. She then thought of chasing after Imlerith, the elven warrior of the Wild Hunt that killed Vesemir.

She enlists Geralt as a companion for her vengeful mission to catch Imlerith on a sabbath. Where the warrior and his cohorts will be drunk and unprepared for a surprise visit.

1. Climb up the bald mountain and look for Thecla in a tent. Ask for her permission to go further up the mountain.
2. After insisting that Geralt accompany Ciri up the mountain, Thecla issues a challenge for Geralt.
3. The challenge is, retrieving a coin thrown into the lake.(TIP: Prepare your crossbow as you will be facing two drowners while you retrieving the coin.)
4. As you head back to Thecla’s hut to claim to have bested her challenge, a fiend appears. Kill the fiend before going any further.
5. Return the coin and Thecla will have Marica guide you to the entrance.
6. Inside you will meet Fugas. As soon as he sees the defiers oren, he begins his attack and try to kill Geralt. Defeat him to proceed.
7. In a game of rock – paper – scissors, Geralt gets to decide who gets to kill the Crones and Imlerith.
8. Ciri heads down a tunnel and jumps into a lake inside a cave to track and kill the Crones (Brewess, Weavess). The third crone Whispess escapes and takes Vesemir’s medallion from Ciri.(TIP: If one of the Crones does not have a health bar, load the game to an earlier date to try and fix the bug.)
9. After Ciri defeats the Crones we switch to Geralt. Exit the cave and find Imlerith. Reach the top of the mountain. Follow the path that will lead you to the bonfire where Imlerith is located.
10. Killing Imlerith will be hard since he is using a shield. You may use bombs to help with damaging him after dodging and running at a distance. Axii sign does not work on him and Ard does very little so bring lots of food. As his health bar drops below 50%, he drops the shield and begins using teleportation when attacking.
11. After defeating the Crones and Imlerith, Geralt and Ciri head down the mountain and tell the folks that they are free and are no longer bound in fear of the Crones and Imlerith.

Geralt and Ciri then pay a visit to Novigrad and see pyres of burnt non-humans outside the gates. We then proceed to meet with Dandelion and the others at the Rosemary and Thyme and unlocks the Final Preparations quest.

A Private Commission

Completing The Immovable God and The Eternal Euthymia and reaching Adventure Rank 30 unlocks Kamisato Ayaka’s story quest. This story quest is the first of two requisite quests for A Stormy Judgment archon quest.

1. Leave the Komore Tea House and talk with Kamisato Ayaka.
2. She then asks you for assistance in giving out gifts for her mother, and wishes that you keep it to yourself and not to speak of it from anyone in Inazuma.

Woven Wishes

1. Meet with Ayaka at Oguras Textiles & Kimonos.
2. Go to the International Trade Association in Ritou and talk to Kurisu about the serial theft cases.
3. Check the marked area in the map and follow the foot prints you found.
4. You will find another cart and further ahead are three ronins.
5. After catching up with the thieves, defeat them and retrieve the stolen goods.
6. Ayaka buys the fabric from Kuris; then proceed to Oguras Textiles & Kimonos.

Puzzle by the Falls

Prior to returning to Ogura’s, check the surrounding area to find and obtain electroculus. We also happen to stumble upon a puzzle. An here is what should be done.

1. Attack and make sure that the first cube has these two exact icons lighting up.
2. Then attack the second cube once to light up two of its icons.
3. Finally attack the third cube to light the icons of all the cubes. This will solve the puzzle and reveal a chest with your rewards.

Food From Afar

1. Talk to Kiminami Anna.
2. Head towards the great noise with Ayaka.
3. She requests an overseas dish from you that’ll be suitable as a gift.
4. Proceed with cooking her a mushroom pizza.
5. After cooking the pizza, give it to Ayaka and Kiminami Anna to be prepared.
6. Give Ayaka the recipe for the mushroom pizza. (mushroom + flour, cabbage + cheese) then talk with Kiminami Anna.
7. Return to Oguras Textiles & Kimonos and collect the goods.

Lasting Promise

A crane brings 1 fresh flower in its beak to decorate my hair, while a white rabbit sews a hemline from 4 rays of moonlight, Dressed appropriately I faced eastward and call out Tsubaki’s name 7 times. In the blink of an eye, I am standing on the path that leads to her house.

1. Head to the marked area on the map.
2. Enter the cave and investigate the shruberry on the stone wall.
3. Above is a quote taken from a notebook in Ayaka’s possession. Face the east wall and climb it. Once there, follow the sequence of the numbers highlighted. Knock once, then knock four times and finally knock seven times.
4. The wall is now gone. Enter through the opening and investigate the chamber inside.
5. Take the notebook from the case and proceed to the marked location.
6. After reading the contents of the notebook, Ayaka reveals that her mother and Tsubaki are one and the same.

With You

Meet up with Ayaka at Amakane Island to experience an Inazuman festival. Whilst there, you experience everything the festival has to offer. From sampling the food from stalls, wearing of traditional masks and even hanging prayer plaques.

While in the Chinju Forest, Traveler and Ayaka talk about your similarities. That she is able to understand your determination in finding your sister. And that she also wishes to spend time with her mother. She then performs an almost ritualistic dance.

She then departs, leaving you and Paimon in the forest. And as the quest is completed, we can now proceed with Chapter II: Act II Stillness, Sublimation of Shadow.

Dreamlike Timelessness (Yoimiya’s Story Quest)

The Firework Girls Strange Stories

1. Visit the marked area in Narukami Island‘s beaches and find three children.
2. Talk to them, and they well tell you about the Great Mujina Youkai. A magical being that shapeshifts and sneaks around playing tricks on people.
3. Follow the upset children that run away , and you’ll find Yoimiya talking to them as if the Great Mujina Youkai really exists. She then tells Paimon and the Traveler that the stories are very popular to kids.
4. Visit Naganohara Fireworks and talk with Ryuunosuke.
5. You then hear a voice calling on Yoimiya from the back. Check and see who it was. Yoimiya will then introduce you to Sakujirou an outlander without documents being hunted by the Tenryou Commission.

Expectations Not To Be Betrayed

1. To help him escape, Yoimiya had already commissioned Kouichi to build a boat. And is discreetly moving it near the beaches.
   
2. Now that the boat is done, look for Morihiko and ask about the firework materials that were supposed to arrive.
3. Next, visit the Amenoma Smithy and present the ore for processing.
4. Check back on Kouichi and proceed to examine the boat.
5. You and Yoimiya approve of the boat. Report back to Sakujirou and give him the location where the boat is docked.

A Sliver of Hope

1. Pay a visit to the Imatani couple.
2. Help the couple clean their yard. Use your normal attacks on the marked items and areas.
3. After cleaning, proceed to deliver the pickled radish to Satoru and report back to the old couple.
4. Yoimiya mentions Sakujirou’s name, and that they would like to ask help from their son, Keisuke, who works at the Tenryou Commission.

Together Under The Fireworks

1. On your way back to speak with Sakujirou, you find out that he is no longer inside the house and was taken by the Tenryou Commission Officers.
2. While you are looking for Sakujirou, ask the children if they noticed scary-looking men pass by.
3. Talk to the Tenryou Commission Officers. And if they don’t budge, fight them.
4. Head to the beach and find Sakujirou and Keisuke.
5. Yoimiya challenges Keisuke into a duel. Defeat him and let him talk with Sakujirou.
6. After their conversation, Keisuke decides to let everything pass and gives Sakujirou the boat and asks if they both could see the fireworks together.
7. Head to the marked location in your map and wait until evening to watch the fireworks.

This finishes Yoimiya’s story quest. This is the second requisite quest to continue with A Stormy Judgment archon quest.
